Former All My Children star Eric Nelsen has joined the cast of Emmy-nominated and Indie Series Award-winning web series The Bay. On AMC, Nelsen portrayed A.J., a member of the prestigious Chandler family. Now joining the cast as a member of a new illustrious family, Nelsen will fill the role of Daniel Garrett, a young relative who’s yet to prove if he’s a friend or foe.

In addition to Nelsen and an all-star cast of daytime stars such as Mary Beth Evans (Days of our Lives), Ronn Moss (The Bold and the Beautiful), Jackie Zeman (General Hospital), Matthew Ashford (Days of our Lives), Tristan Rogers (The Young and the Restless), and more, viewers can also expect to see another fan favorite and Daytime Emmy winner make their residence in Bay City. A surprise casting, who has yet to be revealed, promises to also stir things up in Bay City and excite the daytime community.

"We're excited to have these two extraordinarily talented actors join our cast," said The Bay creator, writer and director Gregori J. Martin. "Eric is a great new talent whom I'm looking forward to working with and our mystery cast member is a daytime veteran I've been a fan of for many years. They will make the perfect addition to the Garrett family and to our show."

In addition to the two new cast members, Martin also revealed the return of Gavin Houston (Jeffery Harrington, Tyler Perry's The Haves and the Have Nots) to the role of Tony Foster, the estranged son-in-law of Sara Garrett. Houston’s character comes back to Bay City for a brief stint on the heels of an epic tragedy with a deep dark secret in tow.

"We're thrilled to have Gavin back for these upcoming episodes," Martin added. "He's a phenomenal actor and has always been a big part of The Bay family."
